A meeting reminder that breaks through hyperfocus

For people who see the banner, mean to go, and look up ten minutes late.

Many people with ADHD know the pattern. You are deep in something, a notification slides in at the corner of the screen, you register it for half a second, and it is gone. Time passes without you feeling it. The meeting was not forgotten, the reminder just never got through.

Slapss does not try to be polite. When a meeting starts, it covers the whole screen, on every display if you want, with the meeting, the time, and a Join button. You can't keep typing until you deal with it.

How it helps

It works with the calendars you already use: iCloud, Google, Outlook, Microsoft 365 and Exchange. It is free with no limits, open source, and it does not collect anything about you.

Questions

Is Slapss made for ADHD?
Slapss is for anyone who keeps missing meetings because normal notifications don't reach them. Many of the people who use it describe hyperfocus or time blindness. It is a productivity tool, not a medical product.
Can the alert come before the meeting starts?
Yes. Choose when the alert appears: at the start, 10 or 30 seconds before, or 1, 2, 5, 10 or 15 minutes before, or set a custom time.
What if I snooze and forget again?
The alert comes back when the snooze ends. You can snooze for 1 to 30 minutes, 1 hour, or until the end of the meeting.
Does it cost anything?
No. Slapss is free, with no subscription, no in-app purchase and no limit on alerts.

Slapss is a productivity app. It does not diagnose, treat or manage any medical condition.
